Dr Megan McCann is originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland and graduated in Dentistry from the University of Glasgow in 2016. She settled in the north-east in 2017 and works primarily at Phillips & Co Cosmetic Dentistry in Darlington, as well as Ghyllmount Dental in Penrith.

She offers routine and cosmetic dentistry, tooth straightening, and medical aesthetics. She also provides dental sedation in clinic as a mobile sedation service, helping other dental practices to treat their anxious patients.

Dr Megan attained a post graduate diploma in Medical Aesthetics in 2023, demonstrating her commitment to an expertise in this field. She is a member of the Acquisition Aesthetics faculty, both as a clinical trainer and the Internal Quality Assurer. She is passionate about training her fellow medical professionals in providing safe and precise medical aesthetic treatments.

Dr Megan's ethos focusses on empowering patients in their treatment choices through education, effective treatment protocols and beautifully natural results.

As a registered dentist, Dr Megan is highly skilled and dexterous, with a thorough working knowledge of the anatomy and functions of the facial structures. She prides herself on her kind and compassionate approach, and understands the privilege it is to be part of a patient’s long-term treatment journey.
